Hey, here's Tom! I'm a certified sound engineer and I do audio mixing and mastering. I work digitally but with care for analog sound character. I approach each project individually, without using automated processes. The aim of my work is to give the music frequency and dynamic balance and create a well-balanced sound with a distinctive character. My experience is best suited for working on post-modern guitar music. I mostly focus on rock, metal, folk, ambient and related genres. My home studio is based in the Czech Republic.

Hardware
PC/Win, UA Volt 276, SSL UF1 a UC1, Adam Audio A7V, Beyerdynamic DT 900 PRO X and Steven Slate Audio VSX.

Ableton Live 12 Suite. A selection of plugins from Solid State Logic, Softube, Soundtoys, Slate Digital, Izotope, Waves Audio and more.
Mix
Mixing is about balancing the overall picture and aims to clearly bring out all elements of the composition and emphasize its character. It mainly deals with adjusting volume levels, panning, equalization and compression. The lower volume of the finished mix creates space for additional signal amplification during mastering.
Mastering
Mastering is the process of preparing a finished mix for distribution. It involves final adjustments to the frequency spectrum, dynamics, stereo image width and volume. Audio parameters are optimized for the target physical medium or streaming service.
Product
The final product is an audio track in WAV format with a minimum quality of 44.1 kHz/16-bit. Delivery takes place in the form of a download from the Samply cloud storage service.
Communication
Communication takes place via email or chat. Deadlines are set by mutual agreement. I value fair treatment and mutual satisfaction.
