Hi, here's Tom! I'm a certified sound engineer specializing in audio mixing and mastering. I work digitally with professional equipment to achieve a warm, natural sound. Every project is handled individually, with no one-size-fits-all presets. My goal is to achieve a balanced frequency spectrum and controlled dynamics. My expertise is best suited to guitar-based music, especially metal, rock, folk, ambient and related genres. My home studio is based in the Czech Republic.

Ableton Live 12 Suite. A selection of plugins from Solid State Logic, Softube, Universal Audio, Soundtoys, Slate Digital, iZotope and more.
Mix
Mixing is about balancing the overall sound, bringing out the individual elements of the composition, and emphasizing its character. It mainly deals with adjusting volume levels, panning, equalization and compression. A properly balanced mix leaves enough headroom for the mastering stage.
Mastering
Mastering is the process of preparing a finished mix for distribution. It involves final adjustments to the frequency spectrum, dynamics, stereo image width and volume. Audio parameters are optimized for the target medium.
Product
The final delivery is a WAV file, typically at 44.1 kHz/16-bit or the resolution of your session. The finished files are delivered via Samply cloud storage.
Communication
Communication takes place via email or chat. Deadlines are set by mutual agreement. I value fair treatment and clear communication.

The mastering price applies to 1 stereo track intended for CD or streaming. Mastering for vinyl records and audio cassettes is charged separately due to the different processing of tracks. For stem mastering, a surcharge is applied for each additional stem.
The price of your order will be determined individually before work begins, depending on the scope and complexity of the processing. This quotation remains valid for 6 months.
